About your tutor:
Maryann Talia Pau is Samoan-Australian weaver and artist. Maryann has been weaving and exhibiting for the last 10 years. Her work has shown in major galleries including the National Gallery of Victoria, Craft Victoria, Artisan and the Gallery of Queensland and Modern Art. She is a maker of body adornment, or "Pasifika bling."
Maryann is the founder of the One Million Stars to End Violence project, which began as a personal response to the rape and murder of a young local woman, culminating in a major installation during the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Maryann is passionate about mental health, the Pacific Islands and living your joy.
